Women in Leadership

leadHERship 2021 - the hope within

The definition of mentorship can be quite broad as we consider how we mentor and are mentored.  At the core of mentorship is relationship.  As a mentor, you share your insights, knowledge, experiences, and connections.  The benefits of mentorship are huge!  For the mentee, the support, guidance, direction you receive can be career changing and assist you on your path to personal and professional development.  For the mentor, the opportunity to give back and serve another can be one of the greatest ways to learn more about yourself while bolstering connections and inspiring another.

James Garner revealed that the mentors he has had acted as guides.  He noted that having more than one mentor was vital as he created a “mosaic of mentors” who provided support along his path to success.

The path to leadership can be challenging.  The value of mentorship is having someone in your corner that can help build the confidence to make wise and bold decisions as you navigate through your career.  A mentor can help save you from making professional mistakes that can have a deep impact.

This year’s conference will focus on the purpose, worth, and role that mentorship can have in our professional lives.  Look for opportunities to connect and receive messages from both sides of mentorship – the mentor and mentee.

We are excited to launch our annual Women In Leadership event - leadHERship.

Women from diverse industries, backgrounds and causes join to share their thoughts around leadership, influence, and how they impact the greater community! It’s an exciting and inspiring time for women; more than ever, women are striving to be stronger, more confident, and reach higher goals, both personally and professionally. We garner insights from attendees on the challenges they face in today’s world, the confidence every woman should have, and future career growth.
