Your Opinion Matters. Please let us know your views about future accessibility laws: The Accessibility Advisory Council is inviting feedback and holding a public forum on Tuesday, May 14th at the Viscount Gort Hotel in Winnipeg. Please register to attend:
- A consultation on the Council’s recommendations for an accessibility standard for Information and Communications
- A presentation about the Scope and Intent, Design of Public Spaces
Save the date! The first week in June is Manitoba Access Awareness Week. Celebrate by registering for a free learning event on June 4th on “How and Why to Support Accessible Employment,” featuring:
- Keynote address by Ms. Maureen Haan, Executive Director of the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work
- Overview of the Accessibility Standard for Employment
- Panel discussion on accessibility in emergency planning
