Building an Inspired Work From Home Workforce

Many organizations are struggling to transform their workflows, guidelines, processes and technologies to effectively support large populations of people who are now (and will remain) remote.  For others that had some pre-pandemic experience, the challenges are less steep.  But regardless of the scope of experience with remote and hybrid work, one thing holds true for all of us - we all have miles of room for improvement.  Join this session to understand what others are doing to fully optimize their hybrid and remote communities.  We will cover sourcing and hiring directly to home, extending company culture, brand and value pillars, and creating and sustaining an inspired, socially connected workforce.

Michele Rowan, President Work From Home Alliance

Michele Rowan, President of Work From Home Alliance/Customer Contact Strategies, has spent the last 10 years exclusively helping companies design and continuously improve their remote working programs.  Through gap analysis of workflows, business process, guidelines/policies, and organization structures, she helps companies achieve best in class work from home and hybrid operating status.  She also conducts remote leader training and facilitates many sessions and exchanges around work from home leadership strategies and operational best practices.

Prior to establishing her own consulting business in 2011, Michele spent 12 years with Hilton Hotels as VP of Reservations and Performance Management and three years leading the HR function for a global BPO.  At Hilton, Michele led the strategic design and deployment of the company’s work from home program in both Europe and the United States.

Rowan currently conducts two-day Work From Home Strategy workshops around the country to help companies develop business plans, playbooks and technology assessments in support of long term, scaled remote and hybrid work forces.  In addition, she has written a book on the subject, and speaks and writes often on this high-demand work strategy.
