The night Customer Service Representative (CSR) is accountable for the company's relationship with the clients that they have been assigned. This would include many facets of the interface including guaranteeing quality of order entry and appointment making, relationship establishment and development, issue resolution and business level monitoring and operational and driver needs. The night CSR is expected to be a team player in operations and able to communicate with all departments in the business.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Operational responsibilities including aiding in the translation of customer needs into positive action.
  • Relationship building which includes responsibility for fostering a strong relationship with all internal and external personnel
  • Providing a Level of Service which includes knowledge of the level of service (LOS) that their client requires on any single shipment, and for their business overall
  • Communicating exceptions, initiate corrective action, and report and evaluate the action effects.
  • Volume and destination Trend Analysis by having a knowledge of all their customer's individual shipment requirements as well as their general trends of business volume, the destination mix, and any changes or unusual developments

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience is an asset, but not a must
  • Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Decision making and organizational skills
  • Proven communication and time-management skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Position is subject to a Continental 6pm - 6am shift (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)
