The MCCA is a proud supporter of all under-represented groups in Manitoba. The association has partnered with several non-profit organizations in Winnipeg eager to find employment for qualified individuals from under-represented groups including: Aboriginal people, persons with physical disabilities, Canadian new-comers, and mature workers interested in working in the contact center industry.
Our industry wide Representative Workforce Strategy (RWS) supports human resource recruitment and diversity planning by offering customized entry level training for the under-represented groups and facilitates partnerships and links between job seekers and members.

CSR Essential Skills Training
Suplementary training may also be available to enhance job seekers abilities. These additional workshops enhance and strengthen abilites in english, interpersonal, or technical computer skills for those who might need to improve in these areas before commencing our Entry Level Training or to be job ready for industry opportunites.
Entry Level Training Program
The MCCA collaborates with members and the province to offer a customized entry level contact centre training project utilizing MCCA's CSR's Essential Skills Curriculum. Training classes are usually 12 to 15 students. Upon successful completion of each intake in the program, students will be offered employment within the industry. This project will include under represented groups such as Aboriginal people, persons with physical disabilities, Canadian new-comers, bilingual, and/or mature workers. The designated groups for this program are adults with low income, unemployed, in receipt of Employment Insurance, Income Assistance or First Nations funding. This project would prepare candidates from these under-represented groups with the Essential Skills they need to obtain secure employments in the contact center industry.
